New Approach for Hair Growth

Hi, it's Dr. Jeffrey Mark. Today I'd like to talk to you about new treatments for hair growth. So we've had a functional medicine approach that looks at the root causes, which looks at hormones including progesterone, thyroid, cortisol, and dihydrotestosterone.  We also look at hereditary patterns, nutritional deficiency, drug side effects, and toxic effects. Including heavy metals and genetics. What's currently being done is a mixture of traditional and functional approaches including medications.  Platelet-rich plasma which is injections of platelets to attract stem cells for regeneration,  stem cells themselves, exosomes, and light-emitting diodes( LED lights).  What's new is peptides,  which offer direct cell signaling for hair growth, flexible applications, including creams, drops, subcutaneous injections, and they may be used singly or in combination with other peptides which is much more effective, and the combination of the traditional means of treatment including PRP.  One example is GSK copper-zinc, and this is one peptide used for hair growth. So it's been found that it strongly stimulates hair growth and it is at least as effective as minoxidil 5%.

It also helps clear out metal toxicities and is very helpful for skin in terms of wound healing, decreasing wrinkles, and helping with immune cells. Other peptides that we've used include thymosin, beta four, body protective compound 157, and Melanotan. So how do you get this new treatment of peptides? A medical evaluation is performed, as this is a highly individualized area of medicine. The peptides that we use are compounded by ta 503 B compounding pharmacy, which is the highest level of compounding pharmacies and we select peptides including GH K copper-zinc, based on a personalized approach and in a combination of all the traditional and current means of treatment. So you can contact us at info@jeffreymarkmd.com, find us on the web and schedule an appointment at www.allfunctionalhealth.com  or call (925) 736-9828,  We also offer personalized care and other peptide uses including wound and skin repair and regeneration, anti-aging regenerative medicine,  long COVID treatments, and brain cognitive medicine programs. So we've helped thousands of people on the journey of health and I look forward to helping you as well. So take care and stay healthy.
